Tracking & Location
With user and central office configuration settings, location update frequency is programmable from once a minute or up to once a day for extended battery life. Tracking update rate is user or admin config- urable and will send out time stamped position, velocity and heading. Also, a central site host computer can request a device location without any user interaction.

Global Communications
Pair with mobile devices
The EC-100 combines an Iridium® Short Burst Data (SBD) modem for global communications, GPS and a Bluetooth link to the EVERYWHERE Smartphone App to enable communications among personnel and teams in the field.The device can operate in standalone mode or paired via Bluetooth to the EVERYWHERE Smartphone App. In addition, the device supports both predefined and freeform text messages. The EC-100 also features a programmable hotkey, enabling the user to perform a customer-defined operation using a single step.
