Scale your Organization with EVERYWHERE Team Configuration
EVERYWHERE’s parent teams provide a repository for an organization’s satellite devices and smartphone apps. It represents a fundamental container where team structure can be customized to fit the needs of enterprise-level organizations as they scale up.
What are teams?
Teams are a way of grouping satellite devices and smartphone apps in the EVERYWHERE Hub. Teams are also used to control what devices EVERYWHERE Hub users can see and control. When you connect to EVERYWHERE, your satellite devices and smartphone apps are connected to a parent team for your organization in the EVERYWHERE Hub. Within that parent team, one or more sub-teams may be defined.

Why use teams?
Teams allow you to organize your devices in a way that is meaningful to your organization. You can scale your organization in the following ways: · To support different business units or functional areas · Create teams for different geographic regions. · Control visibility between devices using sub-teams · Provide supervisors and response teams a way to see multiple teams · To manage a large number of users, you can manage access and visibility through team paths |
How do teams work?
The team structure is a hierarchy where devices and apps can always see up and down their hierarchy. This means that a device can see all of their peers in their team, all sub-teams, and the members of supervisory teams above them. Devices cannot see devices on other sub-teams which are at the same level as them. You can see your organization’s hierarchy from the Devices page in the EVERYWHERE Hub. Click the carat to expand the team and see your devices. Click on the team name to see the team settings. |
